RFID Device Setup
Follow these steps to connect RFID readers to SoftTechIQ Attendance.
Prerequisites
- SoftTechIQ Attendance module enabled
- Network-connected RFID readers
- RFID cards issued to users
Setup steps
- Register each reader in the admin console
- Assign readers to entry points
- Issue RFID cards to students or employees
- Test check-in and verify SMS notifications
Troubleshooting
If a reader shows offline, check network connectivity and power. Device health is visible on the live dashboard.
